Mountain Flow Handheld Infared (IR) Waxer

Love this IR waxer, extremely easy to use and Mountain Flow is an excellent company to work with! If I lost this one, I would buy another right away.

I started using this last year. A very zen experience waxing my own gear. The infrared waxer makes it so much faster and more convenient. I’ve saved so much money waxing the families gear that the waxer pays for itself in a season.

The Mountain Flow IR Waxer is a game changer. I’m someone who often has multiple pairs of skis (and wifey’s boards) that needs waxing, yet I often procrastinate putting the time and energy into waxing them myself. The IR waxer has really changed that. It’s much faster than traditional waxing with an iron, requires using far less wax, and removes the need for scraping afterwards. I can’t imagine going back waxing my skis without it!

Just Bought an IR Waxer. Great concept. A small hiccup 1 of 2 bulbs burned out on first usage. After a short misunderstanding RaceWax and MountainFlow are getting my unit fixed up so I'll be ready to keep waxing.

As for the concept. This makes waxing so efficient and produces much less waste. If you have a family in the sport, this unit will pay for itself in one season. I've got about 3 snowboards and 5 sets of skis to wax for the family. At $30 for each piece of equipment in the store, the unit is pretty much paid for.
