At Racewax, we give used packaging supplies another job. We take good materials destined for disposal and reuse them to pack and ship customer orders. It’s one simple step toward making Racewax a little greener, one order at a time. When you order directly from Racewax, we reuse shipping boxes and packing materials whenever possible, reducing our need for new packaging.

Plenty of used boxes have lots of life left in them before they are disposed of.

 

Plus, according to AF&PA, an estimate of 25-30% of cardboard in the U.S. went unrecycled in 2025, and were disposed of in non-sustainable ways. That’s over 10 million metric tons of cardboard that should have reached the recycling plant of that were not disposed of correctly - with fates such as landfills where it cannot be recycled again.

We care about our planet, and are making the small steps to do our part to reuse, reduce, and recycle.

Making the most of materials that already exist means keeping them in use longer. That reused box or packing material might not be brand new, but it is fulfilling its purpose perfectly by getting your tuning supplies to you while giving useful packaging a second life.
